The Upcyclers Club at Kristin
Yr 12 students Amy and Shirley run the Kristin Upcyclers club - a new club that meets each week to upcycle items that would normally end up in landfill.
"During the lockdown period, we are making tutorial videos (5 in total) for easy and fun upcycling, resources are provided to our members and also promoted on our instagram account @kristinupcyclers. This includes magazine thank you cards, boxes and bags, all achievable from home (the thank you cards can be collected and given to medical workers if we gain enough numbers).
Club members are encouraged to work at home, either following our tutorials or making different upcycled crafts. This is amazing as there are some passionate and driven students who amazed us with their incredible creations".
